Forum of Creative Industries of Central Asia 2023

The forum of creative industries of Central Asia will be held in Almaty

The annual forum of creative industries of Central Asia 2023 will be held in Almaty from November 24 to 26. 

The CSA-2023 dialogue platform will bring together more than 100 speakers – experts and industry representatives from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and South Korea. The forum participants will discuss the main trends and promising ways of developing creative industries in the Central Asian region. 

The main areas for discussion will be the spheres of cinema, music, education, fashion industry and the IT sector. Within the framework of the forum, a number of panel sessions will be held on the following topics: «Creative industries as a social elevator for young people», «A comfortable urban environment and the development of a creative landscape», «Women's creative entrepreneurship», «Audio content in the modern world», etc.

Numerous thematic lectures, master classes, public talk, and an applied art fair are scheduled to be held during the forum. With the support and participation of well-known Almaty curators of the Lumiere Hall multimedia museum, an installation exhibition will be held, presenting innovative and experimental works by Kazakhstani and international digital artists. The exhibition will feature works by authors in the areas of AI-ART, Digital Fashion, Media Art.   

During the event, there will also be an expert discussion of the UNDP with representatives of youth and small medium-sized businesses of creative industries. Fashion musical «Luna Sezim» by a Kazakhstani designer will be a significant event of the forum.

The main goal of the CSA-2023 forum is to develop the sphere of creative industries, attract the regions of Kazakhstan to scale the industry according to the successful cases of Almaty and Central Asia.
