An Evening of Violin Miniatures
Miniature is a favourite genre of many composers who, as if on the pages of their diaries, conveyed their state of mind and fleeting mood with the help of miniatures. The musical miniature reached its highest peak in the 19th century music during the era of Romanticism, that highlighted an inner world of a person’s feelings. Along with Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Chopin, this genre was loved by Bach and Couperin; our contemporaries do love it as well.
The programme of the Evening of Violin Miniatures is so diverse that it can satisfy the taste of the most demanding audience. The concert will feature classical composers's works created in the genre of miniature, as well as arrangements of instrumental kyuis, performed by well-known Kazakhstani musicians, winners of international competitions.
You will listen to well-known melodies, enjoy unique ensembles and definitely appreciate the timbre possibilities of violin, the queen of musical instruments.
