“Musical Offering to Maestro”

Dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Krainev

 

 

On 30 April 2019, at 7.00 pm, the “Musical Offering to Maestro” concert will take place in the Astana Opera Chamber Hall as part of a campaign to promote the 5th International “Astana Piano Passion” Festival of Classical Music and Competition for Young Pianists. Soloist: winner of international competitions Daniyar Yessimkhanov. The pianist dedicates his performance to the 75th anniversary of the birth of his teacher, the well-known pianist, People’s Artist of the USSR and laureate of the State Prize Vladimir Krainev.

Daniyar Yessimkhanov graduated from the Zhubanov Republican Secondary Special Music School for Gifted Children (class of G.Melkova). He made his debut with the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the age of 14.

In 1999, he started studying under Professor Vladimir Krainev at the Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media (FRG).

Since 2001, he has been giving solo concerts, as well as performing with orchestras in Germany, Greece, Spain, Portugal, France, Morocco, the USA and Kazakhstan.

Daniyar Yessimkhanov is a scholarship holder of the Bolashak Presidential Programme (2005-2007).

He has won international competitions in Greece (2006, 2007) and the USA (2009), and participated in numerous international festivals, which among others included Kasseler Musikfest (FRG), Animato (Paris, France) and Amici del Pianoforte (San Daniele, Italy).

In 2009, he joined the Kazakh State Zhambyl Philharmonic Society as a soloist. Since 2010, he has been teaching at the piano department of the Kazakh National University of Arts. Daniyar Yessimkhanov has participated in numerous concerts in his home country (Astana, Almaty and Pavlodar) and abroad (Paris and London).

Daniyar Yessimkhanov’s concerts held in the Astana Opera Chamber Hall are always sold out.
