On 29th June at the stage of the Theater «Astana Ballet» for the first time in Kazakhstan will be held the performance of the National Ballet of China (Beijing), dedicated to the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana.

Within the framework of the II International Festival of Ballet Art "Eurasian Dance Festival", the troupe will present «From Yellow River to Song of Life» a program that has become the hallmark of the theater around the world.

The first and oldest professional troupe of China has more than half a century of history. The foundation date of the collective is 1958, marked by the birth of the first play "Swan Lake" staged by P. A. Gusev. Since the 1980s the repertoire of the troupe has been constantly enriched by the works of leading world choreographers. The theater is famous for its original ballets on national themes, created by Chinese choreographers and composers specially for the National Ballet troupe.
