“Yeren yenbek, yerlіk anderі”

The “Yeren yenbek, yerlіk anderі” concert, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will take place in the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House.

The Kazakhstani virgin lands are lands where representatives of different nationalities worked shoulder to shoulder. Thanks to unprecedented enthusiasm of people who worked there, Kazakhstan has become the largest producer of grain; new villages and towns have been built. The former capital of the virgin lands region is now the capital of independent Kazakhstan. The greatness of the national heroism becomes more visible to contemporaries and descendants, the farther away those years are.

The Astana Opera artists will present a concert to the glorious virgin land workers.

On the programme: folk tunes, songs, works by contemporary composers, as well as music of different ethnic groups, for whom Kazakhstan has become home.
