A grand musical event dedicated to the closing ceremony of the Russian Seasons in Kazakhstan will take place on the stage of the Astana Opera House.
The gala concert “Duet of Two Capitals” completes the cycle of events held during the current year in Kazakhstan. It will feature Russian and Kazakhstani artists. The concert is organised by the Moscow Musical Theatre “Helikon-Opera” under the direction of Dmitry Bertman.
Russian Seasons is a global festival that opens new opportunities for intercultural dialogue between the two countries. The project is organised by the Russian Government and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.
The concert programme includes arias and duets from masterpieces of classical opera repertoire (G. Verdi, A. Thomas, G. Puccini, G. Bizet, J. Offenbach, E. Kálmán, L. Delibes, P. Tchaikovsky, A. Zhubanov, L. Khamidi, Ye. Brusilovsky, K.Shildebayev and others).
The Gala Concert will feature soloists of the Helikon-Opera and soloists, chorus and orchestra of the Astana Opera House.
