The Astana Opera House will give the concert “Bir zherde birge zhursen basyn kosyp ...” from “Abai alemi” series dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh thinker, poet, enlightener Abai Kunanbayev.

The musical and poetic legacy of Abai is the heritage of the people. His songs “Kozimnin karasy” and “Aittym salem, Kalamkas” became the anthem of all lovers.

The concert programme will feature Abai's songs in the arrangement of B. Yerzakovich. M. Sagatov, B. Dzhumaniyazov, N. Mendygaliyev, K. Shildebayev and other composers. For the first time, a vocal cycle on the verses of Abai by Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov will be performed at the Astana Opera House.
