On June 7, 2024, the National Museum will host the opening of the «La Bella Principessa» exhibition.
One of Leonardo da Vinci's most enigmatic and valuable masterpieces, "La Bella Principessa," the drawing from the Warsaw Sforziade codex recognised as the profile of Bianca Giovanna Sforza, daughter of Ludovico il Moro and wife of Galeazzo Sanseverino, captain general of Ludovico il Moro's armies, which constitutes the Master's only attemp on parchment, will be presented to the public in Kazakhstan.
"La Bella Principessa" is a portrait of a young lady from the Italian aristocracy, created by Leonardo da Vinci at the end of the 15th century. Disappeared and found again, the artwork is one of the master's most mysterious and captivating creations. Previously, the painting has been exhibited only five times worldwide, each time drawing immense interest from critics and the public.
