An Evening of Quartet Music

 

 

A concert “An Evening of Quartet Music” will take place in the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House.

For the first time, Kazakh Quartet will perform on the stage of the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House. The Quartet includes famous instrumentalists – Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Bagdat Abilkhanov (violin), Yerkebulan Saparbayev (violin), Darkhan Sadvakasov (viola) and Yermek Kurmanayev (cello).

They will perform D. Shostakovich's quartets – masterpieces of chamber music. In addition, the evening will be adorned with the performance of the Piano Quintet by the Kazakh composer Arman Zhaiym with the participation of the renowned pianist Arman Tleubergenov.
