THE CONCERT IS HELD IN KAZAKH LANGUAGE

Kazakhstan’s music community continues to celebrate the 100th anniversary of People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR and USSR, composer Sydyk Mukhamedzhanov.

Renowned singer and Honoured Artist of Kazakhstan, Galiya Baigazinova, pays tribute to his talent with her solo concert, “Anmen Orilgen Gasyr”, dedicated to all fans of S. Mukhamedzhanov’s work and lovers of vocal art.

Residents and guests of Astana are well acquainted with the beautiful lyrical soprano of Galiya Baigazinova, whose voice has graced all the major concert venues of Kazakhstan’s young capital. It continues to bring joy to her many loyal fans and admirers of chamber and operatic singing.

The programme for this musical evening will feature arias and duets from the operas Aisulu and Akan Seri Aktokty, as well as romances and songs by Sydyk Mukhamedzhanov set to the poetry of Abai Kunanbayev, Saken Seifullin, Muzafar Alimbayev, Kuandyk Shangitbayev, and others.
