The Violin and Its Friends

«The Violin and Its Friends» is the name chosen for this concert by musicians who have been playing this magical instrument since childhood. Today, this passion has become not only their favourite pursuit but also their profession. They have unlocked the secrets of performance art with the guidance of their mentor violinist and conductor, Professor of the Kazakh National University of Arts Askar Duisenbayev, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, recipient of the State Youth Prize “Daryn” and the “Madeniyet Salasynyn Uzdigi” badge. On this special evening, Maestro Duisenbayev will listen to his students, who have grown into his colleagues and trusted friends.

The programme will feature violin works by Kazakhstani, Russian and Western European composers such as M. Sagatov, Ye. Brusilovsky, P. Tchaikovsky, A. Vivaldi, N. Paganini, C. Saint-Saëns, M. de Falla and others.
