Nutcracker at the Ilkhom Theater

On 25 and 26 February at 12:00 in the theatre «Ilhom» will be held a show of
children's musical mono-performance
«The Nutcracker...The Beginning.
Or the Tale of Princess Pirlipat.»
based on an extract from E.T.A. Hoffmann's fairy tale.

Where did the Nutcracker come from, who is Princess Pirlipat and what does sausage have to do with it?! The answer is in a simple and little known story written by Hoffmann and told by the actors of the Ilkhom theatre.

A king and queen, a marker, a spyglass, a cracker, a sausage and a chopping board - thanks to sleight of hand and imagination... come to life!

The performance is performed in a mixed genre of object theatre, puppet theatre and online broadcasting. On the screen, the audience will see a ‘Live Cartoon’ created by an actor from objects and drawings, based on Hoffmann's fairy tale.

This tale is for children ages 6 and up and adults who love good theatre.

The play will be performed in the 50-seat small auditorium
