Parthenope (2024)
Description
The year is 1950, a luxury carriage-bed is delivered to the home of a wealthy Neapolitan family straight from Versailles for a baby about to be born in the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. A girl was born, and she was named Parthenope (Celeste Dalla Porta) in honour of the ancient Greek nymph whose name was once given to Naples. Perfect in everything the girl lived to the fullest: changed lovers and hobbies, tried to start a career as an actress, studied to be an anthropologist and danced until morning. The brilliant life of the favourite of fate was marred only by one event - the suicide of her brother Rafael (Daniele Rienzo), who faded in the rays of bright Parthenope.
