The New Year's Confetti

An interesting festive programme “The New Year’s Confetti” will be presented to the audience by pupils of the Astana Opera’s Ballet Studio.

The Children’s Studio was created in 2013. It trains children who are in love with arts and have good acting and musical abilities. Ballet Studio’s pupils receive aesthetic education, discover their artistic skills and get acquainted with the best examples of classical music.

Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Galiya Buribayeva, the head of the Children’s Ballet Studio, is a wonderful choreographer and teacher who has raised a whole galaxy of Kazakhstani ballet dancers.

Young dancers will step on the stage wearing beautiful ballet tutus designed especially for the concert by skilful hands of the theatre’s artists and tailors.

They will perform choreographic numbers from classical ballets to the music of Tchaikovsky, L. Minkus, A. Adam and others.
