A hilarious situation comedy with the brilliant music of Johann Strauss II. It is based on endless deceptions, disguises and substitutions, inherently characteristic of the carnival act, which forms the basis for the title, plot and genre of the production as a whole. Scandals, intrigues, investigations, and, of course, love this is what this performance is all about. “A Night in Venice” is a new gem in the repertoire of the KATMC. It has everything that operetta lovers adore: lightness, charm, bravura, brightness, subtle humour and inimitable melodiousness.
