The Magic of Art Song

 

Russian art song is a unique phenomenon of the world’s culture. This is a genre, in which music and singing, by merging, create that inexpressible feeling, so comprehensible and close to each person’s heart. Art song gives a person an opportunity to express everything he or she worries about – love, suffering, hope, excitement – everything is in power of this genre.

The vocal evening will be graced with old art songs, works by Russian and foreign composers, Spanish zarzuelas, while musical compliments will be presented as scenes from the operas.
