“LIGHT BREATHING”

The concert “Light breathing” will feature works by Kazakhstani, Russian and foreign classical composers performed by the QUICONTE quintet.

The Ensemble will present not only music by classical composers (G.Bizet, E.Grieg), but also works by contemporary authors, such as G.Ligeti, A.Abdinurov and others.

The instrumental quintet QUICONTE is comprised of Astana Opera orchestra musicians, winners of international competitions Alexey Kossyrev (flute), Damilya Makhpirova (oboe), Almaz Tokpanov (clarinet), Asset Neldybayev (bassoon) and Marat Konysbayev (horn).

The concert will feature leading opera soloists: Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Dina Khamzina, Gulzhanat Sapakova and Tatyana Vitsinskaya (mezzo-soprano); Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Talgat Mussabayev (baritone).
