After bribery of the akim, extraordinary elections of the village akim will be held. Madibek decides to participate in the elections. Madibek has self-confidence because he enjoys authority among the villagers. Besides, he runs his own business. Balkiya listens to Madibek's election programme with pleasure. She wants to contribute to his cause and expresses her opinion to Madibek. Madibek, however, does not accept it at all. Because of this they quarrel and Balkiya takes part in the election herself. The election campaigns and programmes of Madibek and Balkiya divide the village into two camps: men and women. Aysara graduated from school 25 years ago. On this occasion, Aysara's classmates gather in the village for her twenty-fifth birthday party. Since Kylyshbek studied one grade lower than Aysara, Aysara's classmates insulted and humiliated him. In addition, Aysara's former lover and classmate Olzhas, who has returned to the village, says that he is going to be re-elected to the new post of akim. A rivalry begins between Kylyshbek and Olzhas for the sake of Aysara's heart. After Asylym buys an online course from a coach and starts self-development, she is transformed. Askar doesn't like this.
