The Grand Concert of Baroque Music will take place in the Marble Hall of the theatre on 12 April. The acoustics of the Marble Hall convey the sense of spatial depth and breadth of sound that is required for a perfect performance of Baroque music.

The programme features works by the great Baroque composers J.S. Bach, A. Vivaldi, G.F. Handel and F. Devienne.

Opera soloists – soprano Aigul NIYAZOVA, Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan, Guldana ALDADOSOVA, and tenor Narul TOIKENOV, as well as the Astana Opera Symphony Orchestra and soloists Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Damilya MAKHPIROVA (oboe), Asset NELDYBAYEV (bassoon), Saniya SMAGULOVA, Aida SAGADI, Zhaniya MUKHITDINOVA, Zhangir KOSSUMBAYEV (oboe), Zhaniya BOLATOVA (violin), and Kurvanzhan AKHATOV (cello) take part in the concert.

Guest of the concert is conductor Tamara MILOVANOVIC (Serbia).

 

The author of the project, artistic director of the festival and conductor: Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal MUKHITDIN.

 

Tickets purchased at the Astana Opera are exchangeable and refundable only in cases of cancelled or postponed performances. In all other cases, no refunds and exchanges are possible.
