The Astana Opera Chamber Chorus presents a festive programme for spectators and guests of the capital in a concert titled “And, Of Course, It is Better to Win in Chorus!”

The Chorus of the State Opera and Ballet Theatre “Astana Opera’ and its Principal Chorus Master – Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Dautov – are well known not only in Kazakhstan, but also in many foreign countries.

Most recently, the ensemble returned from the 40th International Festival “Hajnówka-2023” in Poland, where it won for the third time.

At the end of the festival, our artists gave a concert of Kazakh folk songs and compositions of modern national and Western European authors for the festival participants, as well as for residents and guests of Warsaw.

The Chorus performs without instrumental accompaniment – a cappella, which requires the highest level of performance skills of both the chorus and the chorus master.
