In 2015, a new home arena of the Barys Hockey Club of Kazakhstan was put into operation. Until now, this sports complex does not have its official name. It was named "Barys Arena" by the club's name.

The possibilities of the new Barys arena

The home arena of the Astana Club, which plays in the Eastern Conference of the Continental Hockey League, can be held not only hockey fights but also competitions in other sports:

•     basketball;
•     volleyball;
•     mini-football;
•     boxing.

The main ice arena "Barys" receives up to 12 thousand spectators, each of which has the opportunity to watch the sports competitions or performance of artists in a comfortable environment: no one will block the view, and the distance to the venue is quite comfortable for sight. Comfortable seats have a heating system, as well as specially equipped seats for people with disabilities.

In the center of the icebox hangs an excellent video cube, thanks to which you can see the ice rink itself and all the subtleties of men's competition. And before the game or during the break to look at other fans or see yourself.

The complex has its own pool, made to all international standards.  Thanks to the mobile platform, it is divided into 2 parts, 25 meters each. In addition, there is the largest locker room in the world, which includes a special Jacuzzi, massage rooms, saunas, medical center, and dining room.

The pool can host various top-level water sports competitions:

•     swimming;
•     diving;
•     water polo;
•     synchronized swimming.

Not sports life at Barys Arena.

In addition to athletes, artists can also take advantage of the capital complex. The hockey playground can be easily transformed into stage stages of the highest level. The first big non-sports event that the arena hosted was a large-scale celebration of the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. Then Yevgeny Plushchenko performed here with his creative program, in honor of the day of the capital. At different times Timothy and Scriptonite performed here.
