Screen Melodies

 

Audiences are very much looking forward to concerts from the “Screen Melodies” series, which are inspired and conducted by the wonderful musician Alikhan Idrissov and are always sold-out. Beautiful melodies, that will be accompanied by excerpts from the favourite films, and artists’s heartfelt performance will create a wonderful atmosphere of a musical film evening.

The concert programme will include hits from popular films of the bygone time such as Office Romance, Amphibian Man, D’Artagnan and Three Musketeers, The Girls, Gardes-Marines, Ahead!, Don't Be Afraid, For I Am With You, The Twelve Chairs, The Very Same Munchhausen, Mimino, The Elusive Avengers, etc.

There will be also performed compositions from the Kazakhstani films that became the classics, including At the Foot of Naizatas, Kyz Zhibek and Angel Wearing a Tyubeteika. The melodies from the movies Rock'n'Roll Wolf, Practical Joke, In Secret to the Whole World, Visitor from the Future and Mary Poppins, Goodbye will carry the audience back to their carefree childhood.
