Jamila Serkebaev’s Concert «Elime Tartu»
On October 30, 2024, the highly anticipated concert «Elime Tartu» by Jamila Serkebaev will take place at the Palace of the Republic in Almaty, dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This evening will mark the culmination of her many years of creative work, reflecting her love and devotion to her native culture, land, and people.
Jamila Serkebaev is a recognized brand of Kazakhstani musical culture, renowned worldwide for her unique arrangements of classical and contemporary pieces for violin and orchestra. She is the first performer of rock and pop music on the violin in Kazakhstan, and her sold-out concerts are held not only in her homeland but also in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
The concert «Elime Tartu» promises to be a significant event for music enthusiasts. The program will feature world classics, Kazakh folk music, and contemporary compositions in new interpretations and fresh sounds across the styles of modern, pop, and neoclassicism, accompanied by original video content showcasing the works of Kazakhstani artists. The stage will host popular Kazakhstani performers such as Tokyn Zabirova, Edil Khusainov, Zarina Altynbaeva, the group «MuzART», the group «Arau», Nora Nugman, and others. Audiences will enjoy joint performances with the «ALJazz Symphony» pop-symphonic orchestra conducted by Alexander Belyakov, as well as the golden voices of Georgia—the magnificent ensemble «Garmonia».
The concert is held with the support of the Akimat of Almaty city.
