Idols of Past Centuries
THE CONCERT IS HELD IN KAZAKH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES
The State String Gaziza Zhubanova Quartet concludes the season with a concert “Idols of Past Centuries” from “The Kazakh Quartet Invites” cycle.
The programme features works by classical composers such as J. Haydn, F. Mendelssohn and D. Shostakovich. Traditionally, the ensemble will also perform national music, including an arrangement of the kui Toremurat by Kurmangazy, specially written for the State String Gaziza Zhubanova Quartet by the composer Ermurat Usenov.
