On 10 and 11 January, one of the most famous drama theatres in Russia will present the play Uncle Vanya by A. Chekhov staged by the artistic director Rimas Tuminas on the stage of the Astana Opera Main Hall.

This landmark production from the Vakhtangov’s repertoire is a laureate of the Golden Mask Russian National Theatre Award, Crystal Turandot theatre award, The Nail of the Season award of the Union of Theatre Workers and others.

Rimas Tuminas’ production Uncle Vanya was accompanied by great success among the audiences in the Baltic countries, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Ukraine, Greece, Israel, Italy, Spain, Poland, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Canada, the USA and China.
