This year, the global music community is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the brilliant pianist and composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.
The series of concerts “A Tribute to Rachmaninoff”, dedicated to the anniversary of the Great Russian composer, pianist and conductor Sergei Rachmaninoff, opens with an evening of chamber vocal music featuring the Astana Opera soloists, orchestra performers and guest musicians.
The author of the project, conductor and artistic director of the festival: Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin.
The programme includes chamber works and romances described as the composer’s ‘soulful confession’.
