The State String Gaziza Zhubanova Quartet celebrates its 30th anniversary! For three decades, this renowned ensemble of highly skilled musicians has delighted countless fans by promoting chamber music both in Kazakhstan and abroad.

The programme of their first anniversary concert includes a piece by another jubilarian of the year the legendary Johann Sebastian Bach, whose 340th anniversary is celebrated worldwide.

As is tradition, the ensemble will also perform national music, presenting Artyk Toxanbayev’s string quartet My Respect to Mr. Tattimbet. This year marks the 210th anniversary of Tattimbet Kazangapuly, the celebrated composer-kui master and virtuoso dombra player.
