On June 27 the Astana audience will be shown the ballet by S. Prokofiev "Romeo and Juliet" staged by the Hero of Socialist Labor, People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of the Lenin and State Prizes of the USSR, Academician Yuri Grigorovich.

World literature knows many beautiful, but tragic stories of love. From this set,  stands  out one, which is called the most sad in the world - the story of the two Veronese lovers Romeo and Juliet. This immortal tragedy of Shakespeare for more than four centuries has taken the hearts of millions of people who are not indifferent - it lives in art as an example of pure and true love that could defeat anger, enmity and death. One of the most striking musical interpretations of this story for all its time is the ballet by S. Prokofiev "Romeo and Juliet". Composer managed to miraculously "transfer" to the ballet score all the complexity of Shakespeare's narrative.
