Elena Khrustaleva is a Kazakhstani biathlete, who brought the country many medals. Until the end of her career, she was the main member of the national team and always on a good score. In 2014 she decided to finish her career because of her age.
Biathlon started at the age of 11, with her father serving. She trained with Ermakov, a famous Russian specialist. In her youth, she tried in local tournaments but failed to achieve success. But as soon as she became a civil RC, her career went up. In 2003, she won 2 gold medals at the European Championship in two disciplines. She secured her achievement in the same competition in Novosibirsk in 2005.
In 2007, she took silver and bronze twice at the Asian and World Games. She didn't get the first place until 2011: the 15 and 6 km races. A few years later, she finished and changed professions.

Not married, no children. After "putting the skis aside", she still prefers not to spread the word about her relationship.
Performed in different types of races: mass start, pursuit, relay, individual race, etc.
She changed her citizenship, as she did not see any prospects in Russia.
In 2009, she took part in a photoshoot for Men's Health magazine, took off without clothes, which caused a serious scandal in the sports community.
