Programme of the master class «Creating pencil cases and card holders from plastic bags»

1. Introduction to recycling:

A brief talk on the environmental hazards of polythene bags and the importance of recycling.

Demonstration of products made from recycled bags and their use in everyday life.

2.Preparation of materials:

Collection and sorting of bags (participants can bring their own or use prepared bags).

Separation by colour, density and preparation for processing.

3. Design and collaging «painting with bags»:

Choosing a colour scheme and developing an individual product design.

Creating unique patterns and designs from bags (collaging).

Participants create their own blanks under the guidance of a master.
4. Creation of new material:

Demonstration of fusing collage from bags to create a durable material.

5. Final production of the product:

Cutting, stitching, attaching hardware.

Participants create their own products: pencil cases, card holders or other accessories.

6. Completion:
Final touches: checking the quality of the product, decorating (optional).

Discussion of further application of recycling skills in everyday life.

7. Completion of the master-class:
