On 9 May, the opera soloists dedicate the concert “Zhenis Ani” to the great holiday – Victory Day and the 100th anniversary of Beken Zhilisbayev, war veteran, singer and teacher, People’s Artist of the Kazakhstan.

The programme features the best examples of the chamber and vocal music composed by Kazakhstani composers during the war and post-war years, as well as popular songs and favourite melodies of the war years.
