The exhibition «The Second Ascent»
Description
In the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 19 September 2024 to 24 November 2024 within the framework of celebration of the 10th anniversary of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan there is an exhibition «Second Ascent» of the world famous sculptor Unus Safardiar.
The exhibition project «Second Ascent» dynamically reflects the state of continuous civilisational transformation - the dissolution of previous forms and connections, their further metamorphosis and reassembly. The idea of the project is realised in the static forms of original installations and sculptures, and further developed in large-format video canvases, linking the main visual and semantic motifs into a coherent concept.
The exhibition features 15 of the master's works. According to the author, each sculpture symbolises the history of mankind.
