The vicissitudes of love

In the flat of the enigmatic St. Petersburg lady Vera Mikhailovna, circumstances bring several completely different people together. A marine biologist Leonid, a failed actor Igor, a provincial girl Varya, a theatre critic Eliseeva, a retired colonel Vadim Petrovich... It seems that nothing can be in common between these people, so different and unlike each other. But when they meet in the same place, they seem to strike a spark between them: is it love, hate or something else?
