Rahilem Mashurova has worked in the theatre since her youth. She received the title of Honored Artist back in Soviet times. And then "Honorary Worker of Education" and the Order of "Kurmet" and "Parasat" already in independent Kazakhstan.

Creative Way

Graduated from school with a gold medal. Even when she was a little girl, she dreamed of being an actress and eventually managed not only to become a student of the Kazakh State Institute of Arts named after Kurmangazy but also to get into the class of the People's Artist of the USSR Hadisha Bukeyeva.

Despite her long career as a servant of Melpomene, there is only one entry in Rakhilam's workbook that in 1968 she was accepted into the troupe of the Kazakh Drama Theatre named after M.O. Auezov. She made her debut in the play "Maira" as Aybarshi.  Since then, the stage and scaffolding of her second home. During this time she has played more than 70 characters.

Rakhilam Mashurova, whose performances have always been a success, is also a teacher of theatrical skills, and now she is giving lectures at the KazNAI named after T.K. Zhurgenov.

Age is not an obstacle to sit at the student desk. At the age of 65, Rakhilam decided to go to study as a director. And her first work-diploma - "Shoes" by Juudat Faizi, staged at the Uigur Theatre of Museum Comedy named after T. K. Zhurgenov. Kuzhamyarov, made critics again admire her talent. Preference in the work is given to modern drama and Kazakh classics. But recently she has taken a great interest in Shakespeare's work, quickly mastered English and wishes to stage mini-plays on sonnets of the great classic.

Rachel has also tried her hand at the cinema. She starred in "Zhibek", "The Crying of the Wolf", "Nuzugum" and others.
