Since the early 1980s, Evgeny has worked with the Pavlodar theatre group. After giving him several years, he moved to the Ural Russian Drama Theatre named after Ostrovsky. And, after him, in 1991, he got a job at the Lermontov Russian Drama Theatre in Almaty.
