The Classical Ballet Theatre, together with artists from the Northern Capital, is pleased to present Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's ballet based on Marius Petipa's libretto The Nutcracker in two acts.

The main roles are performed by the winners of international prizes, holders of the highest ballet awards, true masters of the stage, leading theatres of St. Petersburg!

They were applauded by: Japan, China, Chile, Mexico, Central America, Australia, UAE, Holland, France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, and the Queen of Denmark herself.

Its motto ‘Talent and devotion to the classical traditions of Russian ballet’ is the main goal and objective of the theatre, and the main principle is not only the preservation of the creative heritage of the great masters of Russian ballet, and style in the art of choreography, but also the discovery of new plastic directions and possibilities of choreography.

‘The Nutcracker’ is one of the brightest works in the repertoire of the theatre. The ballet will be of interest to both children and adults.

The classical plot combined with original sets and a professional troupe of true St Petersburg ballet school will give the audience the opportunity to fully appreciate the production as one of the most precious pages of the heritage of Russian art, which has entered the world culture.
