THE CONCERT IS HELD IN KAZAKH

A bright concert dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the renowned Kazakh singer, composer, and artist People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR, laureate of the State Prize of Kazakhstan, Garifulla Kurmangaliyev, closes the season of the Chamber Choir of the State Academic Philharmonic named after Ye. Rakhmadiyev.

The programme will feature works from Orpheus of the Kazakh Steppe, as fans of G. Kurmangaliyev’s work often refer to him.

Traditional vocalists, including Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Gulmira Sarina, Aigerim Nartuye, Ainur Konysbayeva, Nurzhan Meirkhan, Alua Kalymbekova, Aidos Ongarbay and Zinat Kasymova will perform at the concert.

The Chamber Choir of the State Academic Philharmonic named after Ye. Rakhmadiyev is well known both in the country and abroad. Numerous tours, performances on prestigious stages, victories in republican and international competitions have proven the high performing culture of the ensemble. Its extensive concert repertoire includes works of national and world classics.

In the performance of the Chamber Choir, fans of Garifulla Kurmangaliyev’s work will hear beloved songs such as Anshi Dausy, Akkuym Menin, Otanym, Akzhaiyk, Zauresh and others.
