Alimbek Orazbekov is a theater and film actor, director, writer, playwright, teacher. For many years he worked as the chief director of the Kazakh Regional Drama Theater named after S.Seifullin of the city of Karaganda. His works repeatedly became laureates of international and republican theater festivals.
A. Orazbekov's play "Lonely Apple Tree" («Бір түп алма ағашы»), successfully performed on the stage of many Kazakh drama theaters, was first staged by the author in Russian in the Russian theater.
The play, telling about the fate of the mother, who lovingly raised her children, but remained, in fact, a "lonely apple" - was a new page in the history of the eternal theme of the complex relationship of "fathers and children."
The premiere took place on March 18, 2011.
