Concert
The Magic of the Baroque
by composers who personify the High Baroque – George Frideric Handel, Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi.
The concert participants offer you a musical journey into a distant era which was called “extravagant”. “A pearl of irregular (bizarre) shape” is one of the meanings of the term “baroque”. The ideals of harmony, simplicity and clarity of the Renaissance were replaced by complex, pretentious images and forms, pomp and dynamics. Baroque music is highly emotional. It was written for virtuoso singers and musicians, and exactly such artists participate in the concert.
Arias from operas will be performed by the leading soloist – Honoured Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan Alfiya KARIMOVA (soprano), accompanied by the Astana Opera Chamber Orchestra.
Conductor – Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal MUKHITDIN.
ON THE PROGRAMME:
