“Screen Melodies. The Best…”

Audiences are very much looking forward to concerts from the “Screen Melodies” series, which are inspired and conducted by the wonderful musician Alikhan Idrissov, and are always sold-out. The beautiful melodies will accompany the excerpts from the favorite films, and artists’ heartfelt performance will create a wonderful atmosphere of a musical film evening.

The concert programme will include hits from popular films of the bygone time such as Gypsy, A Hunting Accident, D’Artagnan and Three Musketeers, Love and Pigeons, At Home Among Strangers, The Garage, Long Road Into the Dunes, Mimino, It Can’t Be!, Ivan Vasilievich Changes Profession, etc.

There also will be performed compositions from the new films created in Kazakhstan including Nomad, Kunanbai, Astana My Love, Zhanym, and films which have already become classics such as Our Dear Doctor, Kyz Zhibek, and Angel Wearing a Tyubeteika. The melody from the cartoon The Bremen Town Musicians will carry us back to our carefree childhood.
