Zhurmbek Zhuke: A Notebook of Life and Work

A year ago, in Ata's personal library in his study, I found notebooks that he had written for his children to find after he was gone.

In these notebooks, he gathers information about himself and his life journey bit by bit: from his parents, guardians and boarding school, through his front notes, to his path to the Academy of Sciences and the creation of his family - stories I had never heard in his lifetime.

Ata Zhurmbek devoted his life to science, left behind many works on hydrogeology, official biographies and references in encyclopaedias have been written about him.

And in the play, I share excerpts from these notebooks and finally get to know this amazing and simple, warm Zhuke.
