Nikulin's Circus on ice

The Moscow Nikulin Circus is coming to Almaty: the famous artists of the legendary troupe will perform an ice show in the southern capital.

The Moscow Circus on Ice is the official troupe of the Moscow Nikulin Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard. It is headed by Natalia Abramova, Honoured Artist of Russia. The festive New Year's show will be held in Almaty Arena on 28 December at 12:00, 15:00, 18:00.

The famous troupe of the Moscow Circus on Ice, founded in 1964, has been performing at the Nikulin Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard since 2005. The artists of the famous circus are known all over the world for their unique numbers. Each circus show with their participation gathers full houses at the most famous venues of the planet.

This is a unique team that unites professional figure skaters and circus artists from Russia and neighbouring countries. Nikulin Circus shows include jugglers, clowns, aerial acrobats and equilibrists.

Huge experience and the most modern equipment allow the troupe to work at the most diverse venues. That is why ice circus shows are held on natural, artificial and synthetic ice.

«Our shows are distinguished by their colourfulness and breadth of repertoire. Only with us do aerial gymnasts, jugglers, clowns and acrobats perform on skates for the entire show. We don't just carry more than 150 costumes. We make sure that every detail is properly artistically lit» admits the director of the Moscow Circus on Ice.

Over the past ten years, the Moscow Nikulin Circus has toured more than 30 countries. Withstanding the competition with both ice and circus shows, the circus remains one of the leaders of the world circus on ice, preserving the traditions of the world's first ice circus.
