Zhylgeldiyev Sagat Ermagambetovich, a purposeful, talented artist, whose work is an undoubted adornment of domestic theatre and cinema.  

Creativity Way

After graduating from high school, Sagat entered the theatre studio at the Mukhtar Auezov Kazakh Drama Theatre. And already in 1977, he was enlisted on the department of actor's skill in the state conservatory of the Kazakh SSR.  In the same year, the beginning actor started to work in Alma-Ata TUZ, which he combined with playing in the Taldy-Kurgan Drama Theater.

The actor received recognition after his role in the production of Gabit Musrepov's "Kyz Zhibek" based on the Kazakh folk epos, and later he was involved in productions:

 

  • "Altyn Azhal";
  • "Ulpan."
  • "Yen Ademi Kelinshek."
  • "Akhan-Sere and Aktokty" and others.

Recently, Sagat Zhylgeldiyev has been starring in feature films. Among popular TV series with his participation are such films as "Shalgaidagi okiga", "Arman zholynda", "Akke boryshy". Together with his wife Sagat took off in a film of the famous director Erkebulan Zholdasov "Marry in 72 hours".

Sagat Zhilgeldiev: Family Life

Sagat Ermagambetovich chose the companion of life from the acting environment. Lebayeva Zhibek Rakhimberdievna is a year older than her husband and is an Honored Artist of Kazakhstan. The spouses have brought up three children: the senior son Kanat was born in 1975, daughters Moldir and Maral delighted parents with the appearance in 1979 and 1989 respectively.

  1. In 1995, the actor was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of Kazakhstan.
  2. In 1997, Sagat was awarded the sign "For Labor Services".By the 20th and 25th anniversary of independence of the Republic.
  3. In 2011 and 2016, the actor was awarded commemorative medals.
