Dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the birth of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy

The State Trio of the Republic of Kazakhstan “FORTE-TRIO” of the State Concert Organization “Kazakhconcert” of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to give concerts in the Chamber Hall of the Astana Opera House.

All the “FORTE TRIO” musicians are famous instrumentalists and prizewinners of international competitions. Artistic Director of the team – Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Timur Urmancheyev.

The repertoire of the ensemble is extremely rich and varied, and includes works of different styles and genres - from Baroque music to Jazz. While creating its own interpretations, the Trio wins the hearts of sophisticated connoisseurs of classical music. Kazakh folk music and works by Kazakhstani composers hold a special place in the creative work of the group.

The musicians also perform in ensemble with the orchestra and different soloists: instrumentalists and singers.

The FORTE TRIO participates in numerous international festivals and has many a time represented Kazakhstan at the most prestigious concert venues in Europe and Asia.

This evening will give you an opportunity to enjoy the music pieces by the great German composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, whose 210th anniversary of the birth the world’s music community celebrates.
