The image of a woman is central in the world’s art. Great painters, poets and composers of all time have dedicated their works to the womankind.

The audience’s favourite, Honoured Artist of Kazakhstan, soprano Galiya Baigazinova will present the versatile image of a Kazakh woman in her solo programme “Song is a Woman’s World” to the capital’s spectators.

The singer will perform popular Kazakh folk songs and vocal masterpieces by the Kazakhstani composers (Kaldayakov, Mangitayev, Zhakanov, Tlendiyev, Rakhmadiyev, Khassangaliyev, Mukhamejanov, etc.) in the concert, accompanied by the piano and folk ensemble.

The winners of the international competitions Almat Izbambetov (tenor), Assem Kiykpayeva and Nazym Nurgaziyeva (soprano) will also take part in the concert.
