The International Festival of Symphonic Music

Fifth Concert

 

The Astana Opera House offers music lovers a series of symphonic concerts featuring works by Viennese classical composers Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. The programme includes the most popular symphonies and concerts for violin, cello, oboe and piano.

The Choir and opera soloists will also perform Mozart’s Requiem.

 

The festival brings together conductors from Mongolia, Japan, Estonia, Israel and Kazakhstan. The author, conductor and artistic director of the festival is Honoured Worker of Kazakhstan Abzal Mukhitdin.

Koki Gonghui Yang, conductor (Japan – China)

 

 

Koki Gonghui Yang

Born in Tokyo, Japan. He lived in China for a long time. Graduated from the Secondary School of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, majoring in violin.

Graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna as a symphony orchestra conductor. Koki Gonghui Yang performs in the National Chinese Orchestra, promoting Chinese folk music in Europe. Conducts a symphony chamber orchestra. He has taken part in many workshops given by renowned conductors.

He plays the violin, piano and organ and has appeared in many theatres throughout the world, including the famous Vienna Concert Hall.
