Theatrical programme for the International Theatre Day

On the eve of World Theatre Day, which was established in 1961 on the initiative of delegates of the IX Congress of the International Theatre Institute at UNESCO, the theatre celebrates its professional holiday according to a long-standing tradition. And it is gratifying that on this day the artists of the theatre go on stage. «Theatre Day» is a professional holiday for theatre workers: actors, theatre directors, set designers, make-up artists, lighting designers, set builders and even ticket takers and cloakroom attendants.

The theatrical concert programme presents excerpts from the premiere performances of the last theatre seasons, both evening and for children, as well as from performances of different years. The whole creative staff of the theatre and collectives of the region are involved in the programme: choreographic ensemble «Antre», vocal group «Shattyk», artists of the regional philharmonic named after G. Kurmangaliev, Cossack choir under the direction of Galina Volologina.
