The play is about the fates of eight families who could not cope with the difficulties of everyday life. Initial love and feelings fade away, giving way to everyday problems, leading to quarrels and, ultimately, to the decision to divorce. The play shows how love, once strong and all-consuming, is put to the test in family relationships. The storyline emphasises the importance of the spouses' responsibility to the family and the need to overcome life's difficulties together.
