Baba Yaga Saves the New Year is a fantastic New Year's comedy in which mythology, magic and sincere human feelings are intertwined. On New Year's Eve, a boy Yura and his father go to a festive fair, where they take part in contests amidst fun and laughter. But by chance, Yura frees the Snow Queen herself from centuries of imprisonment. After returning to the modern world, she decides to take revenge on her nemesis - Father Christmas, who deprived her of her freedom a thousand years ago.

The Snow Queen, belligerent and vindictive, comes to the decision to freeze not only Father Christmas, but the entire world in order to gain power and revenge. To do this, she kidnaps Yura and takes him to her icy kingdom, where eternal cold and frost reign. The boy becomes a prisoner of the powerful sorceress, but it is he who becomes the key to saving the world, because only his kindness and faith in miracles can bring back harmony and warmth.

However, when all seems lost, an unexpected ally enters the fray - Baba Yaga. Instead of being one of the antagonists, as she is used to be portrayed in folk tales, Baba Yaga decides to save the New Year. Her goal is to stop the Snow Queen and bring joy back to the world using her wisdom, cunning and unusual spells. In this magical adventure, Baba Yaga becomes a hero, and Yura and her begin an incredible journey full of unexpected twists and turns, funny situations and real miracles.
