The Adventures of the Nutcracker (AstanaOpera)

The State Opera and Ballet Theatre «Astana Opera» invites you to the children's Christmas tree «The Adventures of the Nutcracker»!

Everyone's favourite New Year's fairy tale about the Nutcracker gets a new plot. Children will become the heroes of a fascinating adventure: a classic story with modern elements.

Marie, a lovely girl, receives a wonderful New Year's gift of a Nutcracker who can chew hard nuts. But he is unexpectedly kidnapped by the Rat King! Brave Marie rushes to find the Nutcracker and finds herself in the world of four magical Kingdoms. All of them have been living under the oppression of the Rat King for a long time and their only hope lies with Marie .....
